Native Improvements

Improvement Type Applicable To Summary of Benefit
Manor Villages

Allows the player to rest in the village and reduces troop wages while resting.

Mill Villages Improves base prosperity.
Watch Tower Villages Increases the time needed to raid a village by 50%.
School Villages Improves village relation by 1 each month.
Messenger Post All Centers Warns you when enemies are nearby your fief even when you are far away.
Prisoner Tower Castles and Towns Reduces the chance of prisoners escaping.

Field of Grain Castles and Villages Plants fields that can later be harvested for profit.
Armoury Towns and Castles Restocks ammunition of siege defenders regularly during combat.

Reduces the cost of training troops in this center.

Small Marketplace All Centers Increases prosperity and income of a center.
Improved Roads All Centers Doubles the base rate of prosperity recovery.
Fire Brigade All Centers Reduces the chance of improvements being damaged during a raid or siege.
Forge Villages Improves the income of a village.

Adds weapons and armor options to the village elder's store.

Mercenary Chapterhouse Towns Increases the number of mercenaries available for hire, their base strength and their hiring cost.
Escape Tunnels Towns and Castles Increases the chance of escaping a city after failing to defend against a siege.
Guild of Merchants Towns Increases the income and prosperity of a town.
Castle Library Towns and Castles Doubles the reading speed of a character resting in the keep.

Increases likelihood that book sellers will visit your town.

Training Grounds Towns and Castles

Reduces the cost of training troops in this center.

Improves the efficiency of money spent on training a center's garrison.

Reinforced Walls Towns and Castles Makes a center's improvements immune to critical damage.

Reduces the chance of damage to center improvements. Extends the minimum time necessary to siege a keep.

Fishery Villages Increases the income and prosperity of a village.

Adds fish to the trade stock of the village elder.

Stables All Centers Increases the capacity and growth rate of unassigned mounts in a center.
Horse Ranch Villages Doubles the growth rate of unassigned mounts in a center.

Automatically contributes some of the mounts to its bound keep.
