Troops lore
Hello there, lads and lasses,
As you might notice, some pages with those strange cathegory LORE just appeared. Yup, that's right. Lore. Silverstag is finally getting that story sauce. My main focus right now are uniqe troops, because Windy and I agreed they needed their stories, reasons to be in the game. And since community feedback and ideas were always a crucial part of this mod, I want to encourage you to come up with stories about troops you'd like to see in lore. Send me a PM on forums (D3monic) or message here at the wiki, if you think you have a cool idea.
Silverstag & Floris Reddit AMA!
I've been invited to participate in a joint Floris & Silverstag AMA (Ask Me Anything!) over at the /r/mountandblade sub-reddit community. I've also convinced several other developers to come join me; Leifdin (Silverstag), Monnikje (Floris), Duh (Floris) and Caba'drin (Floris) so if you have any questions for the lot of us definitely come join us here. New quests
I start this post to ask in what version new quests will be added, quest of lords, villages, guild masters, etc
i am a fan of warband quest and i want to see more quest on this mod
When new quests will be released? in v025? or in a future release?
Player Abilities
In v0.15 a new system of 'Troop Abilities' was introduced to help improve the effectiveness of Unique Troops and make them stand apart from other troops of the same tier. Later in the development of that version an update was made to expand this functionality to cover Companion Abilities to give each companion a more unique usefulness and role within the party. I hinted back then that I intended to make these options available to the player as well in time, but that an interface would need to be created in order to make that feasible. Well v0.20's focus has been making modifications to current abilities to improve their usefulness and making the system available to player characters.

Garrison Recruitment System
It's been some time since I last sat down to write about a new system being added to the mod and that is largely due to taking a summer vacation away from modding. Today I'd like to touch on the new garrison recruitment system coming with v0.19's release, how it works, what shaped its design and its future refinements.
One of the more tedious aspects of managing a kingdom in Warband during the mid-late game is stocking the garrisons of castles or towns that you acquire. Not only do you need to find sufficient recruits from the neighboring lands, but you also need to transport them back to the desired fief which means leaving enough space in your traveling party to accommodate this and having the time to see to it. A Troopless Tree System
Quoted: The troop system is being reworked in two ways. Firstly, two factions are being added (earliest is v0.16), and troops are being redone for the existing factions. Dawg of War is leading this design and balancing effort. Secondly, the troop tree system is being removed (upcoming in v0.15) to allow for more units with more uses instead of the two or three "top tier" units in each faction who are superior. (I may be wrong with my understanding, so I'd suggest waiting for Windyplains' explanation.)
